ASISU and School of Performing Arts Offer Free Access to Theatre Productions for ISU Students

The School of Performing Arts at Idaho State University is thrilled to announce that all current ISU students will have the opportunity to attend ISU Theatre Productions for free, thanks to funding from the Associated Students of Idaho State University (ASISU). This will enable all ISU students to immerse themselves in the enriching world of theatre.

College of Technology Instructor Receives Innovation Award on Using Ethical AI in English

Matt Wilson, clinical associate professor in technical general education, is the recent recipient of the Gem State Innovative Educator Award in Written Communication thanks to his remodeling of the first-year composition courses around modern technology. This year's award was focused on recognizing educators who helped non-major students understand and apply the concepts within their courses using high impact practices.

ISU Professor is First Idaho Occupational Therapist to Receive Board Certification in Geriatrics

Dr. Amanda Henscheid, assistant professor and associate chair, is the first and only occupational therapist in the state of Idaho to earn Board Certification in Gerontology. This certification is offered by the American Occupational Therapy Association to demonstrate excellence in the practice area of gerontology. To earn this certification involves demonstrating eligibility based on licensure and experience providing occupational therapy services to older adults as well as a rigorous certification exam.
