What do you do if your strategic decision making lacks diverse perspectives?
In my experience, I provide training and education programs to raise awareness about the importance of diversity in decision-making. I also provide tools and resources for team members to understand their own biases and learn how to navigate diverse perspectives effectively. Also, develop structured decision-making processes that incorporate mechanisms for gathering diverse perspectives. Consider using techniques such as brainstorming sessions, focus groups, or advisory boards to ensure that multiple viewpoints are considered before making a decision.

What do you do if your strategic decision making lacks diverse perspectives?
One thing I have found helpful is to diversify decision-making teams. Actively seek out diverse perspectives by diversifying your decision-making teams. This may involve recruiting individuals from different backgrounds, experiences, and expertise areas. Ensure that representation is inclusive of gender, race, age, ethnicity, and other relevant factors. Create a Culture of Inclusion: Foster a culture where diverse perspectives are valued, respected, and encouraged. Promote open communication, active listening, and constructive feedback within your organization. Encourage team members to voice their opinions and ideas, regardless of hierarchy or seniority.

What do you do if your strategic decision making lacks diverse perspectives?
In my experience, it is important to seek external input outside your usual circle. Engage external stakeholders, such as customers, partners, or industry experts, to provide additional perspectives on strategic decisions. External input can offer fresh insights and challenge internal assumptions. Then, continuously monitor and evaluate the outcomes of strategic decisions to assess their effectiveness and impact. Use feedback loops to gather insights from stakeholders and adjust decision-making processes as needed to promote diversity and inclusion.

What do you do if your strategic decision making lacks diverse perspectives?
Assess Current Practices: If your strategic decision-making lacks diverse perspectives, it's crucial to take proactive steps to address the issue. It would be important to assess current practices. Evaluate your current decision-making processes to identify any biases or barriers that may be limiting diverse perspectives. Look at who is involved in decision-making, how decisions are made, and whether there are opportunities for different viewpoints to be heard.

Five-Way Directional Model (for Leaders)
Filed US 62739017
The “five-way directional model” provides a perspective for leaders to focus their attention on what matters the most in the moment of a crisis. Corporate Leaders should…
1. Look Forward, strategically,
2. Look Backward, retrospectively,
3. Look Inward, introspectively,
4. Look Outward, engagingly, and
5. Look Upward, ethically, soberly and hopefully.
