A results-oriented global health and development professional with solutions-driven programme leadership and management experience in the non-profit health and development sector. Expertise in leading teams to improve performance, research, resource mobilisation, healthcare policy advocacy, and forging partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

I currently provide specialist support and technical assistance as an independent consultant to the consulting and non-profit sectors to tackle policy, planning, integration, coordination, and implementation challenges around health system strengthening, including human resources for health, research reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health and more recently, at the intersection with gender. Recent projects delivered include a Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) funded initiative to establish multi-stakeholder Memoranda of Understanding to improve routine immunization and primary healthcare delivery and a comprehensive landscape analysis of the gender and health advocacy space in three states in Nigeria.

A few past accomplishments also include: Successfully led the Healthcare Leadership Academy, a non-profit healthcare leadership and management training organization, for nearly seven years as its Co-founder and Executive Director; Oversaw the delivery of innovative contextualised courses in leadership, management and quality improvement to over 700 Nigerian healthcare professionals across all cadres and disciplines, with a subset implementing over 100 supervised improvement projects within ~300 public and private primary and secondary healthcare facilities and diverse communities across 16 states in Nigeria; Identified co-financing resources and cultivated strategic relationships with diverse partners, raising ~ $1 Million in funds through philanthropy, course sales, and consulting engagements for the Academy.
