From June 30 to July 3, Ab Ovo is attending the European Conference on Operational Research in Copenhagen, organized by the Danish OR Society. At this conference, joint work by Ab Ovo and the Zuse Institute Berlin will be presented under the title "Scheduling ULD Loading Operations in Air Cargo Hubs." This research focuses on optimizing the unloading and loading of unit load devices (ULDs) at airports using a mathematical optimization algorithm applied to real data from Lufthansa. It will be presented by Ricardo Euler from the Zuse Institute and research support was provided by Tuomo Takkula and Christian Puchert from Ab Ovo.
