Hongkong/Shenzhen, 2024 August 21st-24th, The activities of BAERBERGH ADVENTURE CAPITAL company CAROZ, THE control tower are expanding weekly in an impressive way, in both Europe and APAC. New clients, new employees, and now also a beautiful new office for CAROZ, THE China connection in Shenzhen (next to our offices in Hongkong, Ningbo, Shanghai and Qingdao) to accommodate the past and future growth of our activities. The last days I spent together with Rudy Claessens , Wim Andriessen and Mike Heijnen in Hong Kong and Shenzhen for business reviews with clients and also to visit the beautiful, modern new CAROZ office in Shenzhen. With a delegation of the Shenzhen-staff we had a traditional Guangdong lunch (including excellent vegetarian options) after which the office was officially opened accompanied with cake and bubbles! 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴! ⛳💙   Last Thursday, we hosted our own event: THE Ultimate Swing! 🏌️♂️✨   The venue? The brand-new Chi Chi - The golf Venue in Utrecht. A stunning location with an incredible atmosphere. But, the venue was just the beginning. We had interesting guest speakers lined up. Freek Aertsen took us on a journey into the world of EyeOn, and Samir Selimi demonstrated the latest AI technology in the supply chain, live in action. 🤖🚀   After the inspiring talks, we hit the driving range for some fun swings and indulged in a delicious shared dining experience. 🍽️🏌️♀️   We had an amazing time! The Black Jaguar Foundation had the honor of showcasing the work on the ground being done in the Araguaia Biodiversity Corridor to some of our loyal supporters! We demonstrated how, through high-quality ecological restoration involving over 70 native species, we are able to regenerate the Amazon Rainforest and the Cerrado savana in Brazil.   We visited restoration areas that are 2 years old, where trees are already reaching heights of up to 5 meters. We also toured older areas restored 5 years ago, now home to a young forest with trees towering up to 8 meters, where ongoing maintenance is no longer necessary and biodiversity has returned.    We engaged with local communities — BJF workers, seed collectors from Ressemear (Seed Network founded by the Black Jaguar Foundation), suppliers — discussing the positive socioeconomic impact we are generating in the region.   It was an inspiring visit, and we would like to thank our supporters for their trust in our project. Without your continuous support, none of this would be possible! Together with supporters, farmers, and the local community, the Black Jaguar Foundation will continue working towards restoring 1 million hectares to complete the Araguaia Biodiversity Corridor! 🌿💚 . . . A Black Jaguar Foundation teve a honra de apresentar o trabalho que está realizando no Corredor de Biodiversidade do Araguaia a apoiadores mais que especiais! E mostramos que, a partir de uma restauração ecológica de qualidade, envolvendo mais de 70 espécies nativas, é possível recuperar a Floresta Amazônica e o Cerrado. Estivemos juntos em áreas de restauração com 2 anos de idade, em que se pode observar árvores com até 5 metros de altura. Visitamos também áreas mais antigas, restauradas há 5 anos, na qual já existe uma jovem floresta, com árvores alcançando 8 metros de altura e onde a manutenção não é mais necessária e a biodiversidade já retornou. Além disso, conversamos com as comunidades locais - colaboradores, coletores de sementes da Ressemear (Rede de Sementes viabilizada pela Black Jaguar), fornecedores - sobre o impacto socioeconômico que estamos gerando na região.  Foi uma visita inspiradora e gostaríamos de agradecer nossos apoiadores pela confiança em nosso projeto e reforçar que, sem o suporte contínuo de vocês, nada disso seria possível! Wroclaw- Dobrzykowice, 2024 June 14th, Yeahhh finally !!! Yesterday our magnificent new 23000m2 Nunner Logistics expansion site in Poland was completed and the keys were handed over. Here we will operate warehousing and VAS activities for one of our major US clients. A great place to work that meets all the most advanced standards. LCube especially Adrian Biesaga EMBA, Jakub Rzeżuchowski and Michal Stachura thank you very much for the very pleasant cooperation throughout the process, and team Poland and especially Sławomir Kubas and Joanna Klepacz good luck at this new location!

Arnhem, 2024 June 23rd, it was a pleasure to be present at the Dutch Cycling Championship as a guest of VolkerWessels. The ladies VolkerWessels Cycling Team, of which Nunner Logistics is a co-sponsor (#Pushingdreams), started at the market square of Arnhem and continued the course to the Posbank where a number of laps were ridden and then a number of laps in Arnhem. The finish was at the beautiful Sonsbeek park where also the hospitality was arranged at Grand Café Aan De Beek right on the finish line from where we could observe our ladies well. During the day there was plenty of networking time with the other guests. The championship was won by Chantal Blaak from Team SD Worx-Protime who recently became a mother. Baby Noa was waiting for her at the finish that gave the extra boost :-) An extra nice victory!

Last Tuesday, our colleagues Bas Schoone, Marie Selen-Gustafsson, and Glenn Reijnen attended an exciting event in Frankfurt, organized by our sister company EyeOn and hosted by Pascal van den Boogaard. NUNNER ON POSITION 13 IN TOP 100 LOGISTIC SERVICE PROVIDERS ! Leusden, 2024 June 19th, it was an exciting afternoon in the AFAS Theater Leusden where the #TOP100 logistics service providers of 2024 was announced by Kees Verweij from Buck Consultants International in collaboration with Logistiek.nl. Of course it was also very nice to meet acquaintances from the industry and exchange ideas with them while enjoying a beer. Nunner Logistics again maintains its position comfortably in the top 15 this year and scored high again on sustainable transport, sustainable warehousing (BEST IN CLASS), innovation in working environment and education, smart warehousing, digitisation (BEST IN CLASS) and value stream optimisation (BEST IN CLASS) resulting in a ranking on position 13. Of course we are proud of this achievement. Our congratulations to DHL who ended 1st place again this year.
