On May 21, #Bopinc, in collaboration with the #WorldFoodProgramme, held a social behavior change workshop to empower small-scale millers and engage communities in #Baringo and #Makueni counties, Kenya. The workshop aimed to address malnutrition by promoting the production and consumption of fortified maize flour, produced by small-scale millers. By leveraging community-driven models and strengthening local partnerships, the initiative seeks to increase the availability and access to safe, nutritious foods in local markets. 🌽 This collaborative initiative goes beyond aiding the production and supply of fortified maize flour, it also enhances community involvement and awareness. By working together, we aim to create lasting advancements in sustainable improvements in nutritional standards. 🤝 Special thanks to WFP for bringing together different stakeholders to participate in this workshop and for their ongoing support in combatting malnutrition in Kenya. 🙏 #NutritionForAll #CommunityEmpowerment #FoodForAll #FightMalnutrition #SustainableNutrition World Food Programme, World Food Programme Eastern Africa, Daraja Plus, Beryl Oyier, Dr. Robert Ackatia-Armah, Olive Wahome-Mugo, Rosemary Gatahi, Sarah Straatsma, Dexter Chagwena, Faith Kathoka, Faith Mutuse, Josephine Mwema, Vivian Chumba, David Odeyo, Catherine Mwangi, Stephanie N M.
