🌞 Samen-werken aan duurzaamheid! 🙏 🔬 Als onderdeel van een groter onderzoek onder leiding van Eurac Research uit Italië genaamd ‘SYMBIOSYST’, dragen wij met onze PAR+ spray coating bij aan het gezamenlijke doel: “Een symbiose creëren waarbij PV en landbouw een wederzijds voordelige relatie kunnen hebben”.   🌱 Planten zelf zijn natuurlijk uiterst efficiënt in het omzetten van zonlicht in energie door middel van het bijna magische proces fotosynthese. Maar wat als je je ergens bevindt waar je kas teveel zonlicht ontvangt? However what if you are located in a geographical location where your greenhouse receives too much sunlight? Wouldn’t it be nice to convert any surplus sunlight into sustainable electricity in a cost-effective manner? ⚡️ Together with Kubo Group, the Delft University of Technology, and many other leading (research) partners we are showcasing how our PAR+ coating in that case can avoid any unwanted shading effects when installing traditional low-cost PV solar panels spread across the roof. 🔎 And the results in our view look absolutely stunning! 🌞 Durable Diffuse Daylight 🌱 Onze PAR+ coating is lekker bezig op deze warme, zonnige dagen—kom maar op zomer! Door daglicht diffuus te maken zonder lichtverlies, verbetert PAR+ de teeltcondities. Al het inkomende licht én warmte wordt daarbij gelijkmatiger verdeeld over het gewas, die hierdoor een stuk minder stress ervaart. Het blijft daardoor zo'n 3 graden koeler in de top, én de relatieve luchtvochtigheid zo’n 10% hoger: een mooie win-win.   Een lagere temperatuur en hogere luchtvochtigheid zijn gunstig voor de groei en ontwikkeling van planten, omdat ze dan minder vatbaar zijn voor hitte-stress en actiever kunnen blijven. By diffusing daylight without light loss, PAR+ improves cultivation conditions. All incoming light and heat are more evenly distributed over the crop, which experiences much less stress as a result. This keeps it about 3 degrees cooler at the top, and the relative humidity about 10% higher: a great win-win. Lower temperatures and higher humidity are beneficial for the growth and development of plants because they are less susceptible to heat stress and can remain more active.
