We need a new salesperson for our Scandinavian team in Denmark. Koopman International Scandinavia has its head office in Odense, and this is where we are looking for a new Sales person. A few words about Koopman: Your working day starts from the office in Odense, and your primary tasks will be to service and further develop existing customers as well as locate and start new customer collaborations and sell from our wide range of more than 30,000 different non-food products. Our customers are retail chains, independent shops and e-commerce. You will be part of a strong Scandinavian team with close colleagues in Denmark, Sweden and Finland, of which there are 11 people in the office in Odense. We work closely together and have a flat structure where your opinion is heard – and where teamwork is a key word. At the office in Odense, we have a 2,500 m2 showroom, which we use to a certain extent, but often we meet our customers to our large showroom in Amsterdam - so a number of travel days can be expected during the year. Therefore it is important that you thrive with a changeable daily tasks with great variety, and that you are happy to travel and meet committed colleagues from all over the World. A few words about you: • Your personality is your most important characteristic, but at the same time you must be passionate about sales and customer development, and thrive with the close customer contact, and find the best solutions for a strong collaboration. • We imagine that you have a background from either retail or B2B sales and have worked with personal sales – and knows what is required to establish and maintain strong relationships and collaborations. • You have a positive approach to new exciting tasks, a great drive and are a trustworthy, service-minded and serious team player who thrives both alone on the road and in a shared office environment with close colleagues. • You have strong knowledge of Danish and English, both written and spoken. In ons eigen laboratorium ondergaan onze artikelen uitgebreide kwaliteitstests. Onze processen en onze producten voldoen zo volledig aan alle Europese milieu- en veiligheidseisen. Bovendien wordt onze afdeling Quality Control jaarlijks getoetst en beoordeeld door middel van een onafhankelijke audit door Bureau Veritas. Zo kunnen wij onze klanten – en zij hún klanten – voortdurend de allerbeste betrouwbare productkwaliteit bieden. Wat doet een QA Medewerker? Onze collega Edwin vertelt: Als QA Medewerker werk ik op ons in-house laboratorium. Quality Control bestaat uit een team van vijftien collega’s. Onze belangrijkste taak is het testen en controleren van onze producten op kwaliteit en veiligheid. Ik werk al 12,5 jaar bij Koopman en ik voel me hier erg thuis. Wat maakt je baan zo interessant? Ik ben heel nauwkeurig en die eigenschap komt hier goed van pas. Het controleren van producten moet natuurlijk secuur gebeuren. We testen heel streng op veiligheid. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan kinderspeelgoed: hoe valbestendig of vuurvast is een speelgoedauto? Binnen een frisbee testen doet het trouwens ook goed! Hoe is de sfeer in het bedrijf? Je kunt je binnen Koopman volop ontwikkelen. Als je dat wil krijg je de kans om door te groeien. De sfeer bij Koopman International is heel nuchter en informeel. Iedereen kent elkaar en is bereid elkaar te helpen. Dat teamgevoel is hier echt aanwezig: op vrijdagmiddag sluiten we de week vaak gezamenlijk af.
