And yet another offshore system delivered last Monday!   The project’s scope included the metering system, a Metering Control System (MCS) (loose supplied) and a Sampling System (integrated on the skid).   As a true ODS project,  the project was carried out on a global scale: - The MCS was engineered and built by ODS Belgium; - The Manual Sampler panel was engineered and built by ODS Belgium; - The skid engineering and detailed design were done in The Netherlands; - The system was built under the supervision of ODS Dubai.   Despite a very tight schedule we delivered this project on time, with special thanks to everyone involved in this project.   Want to know more about our (offshore) projects? Last February a group of professionals visited ODS for a special training as part of the Nigerian Content Development program. We are proud to be part of this important program by sharing our expertise in the Metering Systems industry.  The training covered a range of topics including:   - Metering Control Systems (MCS), including HMI and Flow Computer Training - Gas Chromatography and Instrumentation equipment in the Field Auxiliary Room (FAR) - Flow Meter Calibration   The training took place at both ODS NL and ODS BE, which emphasizes the power of the cooperation between our ODS branches. During the training in Belgium and The Netherlands, the participants also had a real time view of a project finalization stage, this stage consisted of FAT’s.   This FAT stage consisted of the following: The functionality of the MCS and FAR were thoroughly tested during the FAT’s in Belgium. The FAT of the flowmeters consisted of a calibration in our own NMI certified lab in The Netherlands, witnessed by ISO17025 certified NoBo Kalibra.   Each participant completed the training successfully, earning their certificates. We would like to congratulate each participant with their achievement and thank everybody involved.
