Today, we are proud to announce that Scailable BV has been acquired by Network Optix! 🚀 We started Scailable to make edge AI a reality. We built our edge AI pipeline SDK with one goal in mind: allowing the world to safely, securely, and efficiently benefit from edge AI. Joining Network Optix allows us to accelerate. Network Optix enables the management, storage, and indexing of video streams for a variety of use cases (security, logistics, product quality control, etc.). Effectively, Network Optix solved video. By adding edge AI to distributed video, we allow developers to instantly bring intelligence to the edge. As the end of the year is nearing, it’s always good to reflect and get together. We had the pleasure of celebrating the end-of-the-year at Scailable with our yearly Christmas dinner-and-quiz. 🚀 Admittedly, 2023 was an amazing year for Scailable. We have had the amazing pleasure to work with partners, clients, and friends in building the infrastructure and tools to create edge AI solutions at scale. Here are a few highlights (and my apologies to everyone we are leaving out here, it was a packed year): - We have contributed to the development of numerous edge AI solutions in various application areas. For security applications we worked with MCS Benelux and LUCOM installing solutions together with their system integrators. With Network Optix we partnered closely to integrate into their software stack and make video management + AI for security (and beyond) possible. For industrial edge AI applications we had the pleasure to work closely with Omron Industrial Automation Europe and Siemens over the past year and we released our case study together with Sappi (and help by HPS Industrial B.V.). For retail applications we worked with Dell Technologies, DooH Solutions & Services and SummaView Consultancy B.V.. Much more to come here in 2024. - We greatly extended our software ecosystem. We integrated our deployment pipelines with Edge Impulse for seamless model (re-) training. We partnered with Allxon Inc. for management on Advantech devices and partnered with ZEDEDA and balena to make our edge AI SDK available almost everywhere. More to come here soon. - We visited numerous fairs together with our partners. From embedded world together with Advantech Europe (where we also had the honor to visit the #advantechwpc), the Embedded Vision summit with Network Optix, the Hannover Messe with AMD and Advantech Europe. Many of our demo setups could not have been realized without the help of our vision partner Vision Consultancy. We also extended our collaboration with Intel Corporation. We hope to see you at a fair near you next year! - We extended our hardware support at the device level and chipset level. We added support for #nvidia (including Orin), Hailo, NXP Semiconductors, and numerous other platforms. And, we worked closely with many OEMs (AI-BLOX | Edge AI solutions, Videology Industrial-Grade Cameras , Seeed Studio, Lanner Electronics Inc., Advantech Design and Manufacturing Services(DMS), ADLINK Technology, Innodisk Corporation and many others). A special thanks goes out to Volta Ventures and Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM) for their support on virtually any topic related to growing our company (with a huge shout out to Jeroen Ghijsen for all his). And most of all, thank you! It was a great year and we are looking forward to jointly making 2024 an even bigger success (and making edge AI easy, accessible, and manageable across any device you can think of). 🎉

Presenting part 5 of our 5-part Scailable Edge AI pipeline SDK introduction 🚀. So, yeah, that’s the last one in the series…. In this video we show you how to use the on-device UI — which is by default installed when installing the Scailable pipeline on any supported device — to simply configure an advanced edge AI solution. Our on-device UI allows system integrators to quickly setup Edge AI solutions for security, logistics, and product quality control. Obviously, anything you can configure in our UI you can also script, code against, or easily extend to create your own pipelines. And, any pipeline you configure can be deploy effortlessly to any hardware and chipset we support (so, yes, you can move from CPU only, to NVIDIA GPU, to HAILO, and to a range of other targets without having to redo any of your code).
