This iconic building, funded by Andrew Carnegie, is home to institutions that shape global justice every day, including the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), and The Hague Academy of International Law - Académie de droit international de La Haye. These institutions, along with the Carnegie Foundation - Peace Palace / Carnegie Stichting - Vredespaleis, play a crucial role in making The Hague the international city of peace and justice that it is today. Soon The Hague will have a commercial seaweed farm within the Hollandse Kust Zuid (HKZ) wind farm! The green veggies will grow around 18 kilometers off the coast between #TheHague and #Zandvoort. North Sea Farm 1, created by North Sea Farmers with funding from Amazon’s Right Now Climate Fund, is a floating farm situated among wind turbines where #seaweed cultivation can be tested and improved.
