We are pleased to participate in MPA Singapore Safety@SEA conference to contribute our knowledge on safe terminal operations, people competency and our experience in successfully facilitating the world’s first ammonia bunkering at Vopak’s Banyan Terminal this year. With more than 20 years of experience in the safe storing and handling of ammonia, Vopak is committed to contributing to Singapore’s decarbonisation efforts as ammonia is being considered as a low-carbon alternative fuels to decarbonise shipping, Representing Vopak at the conference was Glen Davenport, Vice President of Technical and Operations for Vopak Singapore. Congrats to our team at Pengerang Independent Terminals Sdn Bhd (PITSB) for safely receiving its first sustainable aviation fuel from renewable fuel producer, Ecoceres. This is an important step in helping Ecoceres expand their supply network, enabling SAF to support more businesses worldwide in decarbonising the value chains. With close to 30 terminals within the global Vopak network ISCC-certified to store sustainable products like sustainable aviation fuel and other biofuels and feedstocks, we are well positioned to facilitate low-carbon fuels to meet our customers' needs. Our JV company PITSB's recent milestone demonstrates our capability as a reliable partner for our biofuel customers as demand for lower carbon fuels continues to grow. 

Congratulations to the teams at Vopak Vietnam for achieving the milestone of 4 years free from reportable incidents. ✔ This means that no one has been seriously injured while working at the both terminals in those years, and there have been no spills. Great news from our team in Australia. 📣 The Northern Territory Government and Vopak signed a memorandum of understanding, to develop common-user infrastructure including a CO2 import terminal in the Middle Arm Sustainable Development Precinct - Northern Territory. "For nearly 20 years, Vopak has been contributing to the energy security and economic development in East Arm near Darwin city. This project not only signifies our ongoing commitment to growth but also contributes to playing a role in decarbonisation ambitions for both the Northern Territory and Australia. Together with the Northern Territory Government, we look forward to playing a key role in Australia's transition to net zero. This development of CO2 infrastructure is fully in line with Vopak's global strategy to develop infrastructure solutions to accelerate the energy transition,” said Paul Kanters, Managing Director, Vopak Terminals Australia.
