I am a curious person with a multidisciplinary curriculum, strong scientific/technical background and an entrepreneurial spirit. Analytical thinker, with good skills in mathematical modeling and coding, as well as design and testing of (quantum) photonic and mechanical devices.
I enjoy facing complex problems involving several different aspects, team-work and management of the "general picture".

My academic background is mostly in Physics, holding:
- B.Sc. with a focus in (experimental) Nanotechnology
- M.Sc. in Condensed Matter Physics,
- PhD from the Quantum Technology Labs (UniBristol, UK), focusing on integrated photonic implementations of quantum simulators.

Involved early-on in quantum technologies, my current interests revolve around investigating the potential applications of quantum simulators. I have previously co-founded a high-tech venture (“Material Recovery Systems”) active in industrial waste recovery from thin-films manufacturing. As a start-upper, I also gained project management and business strategy skills, improving them via a Fulbright BEST scholarship hosted at Santa Clara University.
