About

I’m a socially involved international law student. I graduated in Dutch law with honors and hope to graduate for the master of international law in 2024. Next to law, I’m also interested in art, history, and politics. I would like to specialize in research regarding international cultural heritage law.

Beside my studies, I’m political active in a Dutch political party, the SP. From 2017 till 2022 I was the co-founder and secretary of an interest group that did volunteer work for people that faced problems with the government. We represented people, advised them, or did paper work for them. In 2021, I joined the SP, since then I’ve had different positions in the party like, chairman of a local division, campaign team member, candidate representative and appeal commission member.

I also co-founded a humanitarian network organization called Next Humanitarians, because of my affinity for humanitarian work and law. This organization wants to inform, inspire, and connect students and experts. One of the ways we try to do this is by organizing events or students programs. I was co-organizer of the student program of the eRIC beurs, the largest security event in the Netherlands.
