Gina is an influencer in the field of horticulture, focusing on researching, speaking, and filming & publishing about how we integrate nature into our culture. In addition, she advises municipalities, architects, urban planners, and landscape designers. Gina experiments with and designs natural outdoor spaces, while mentoring and inspiring students from institutions such as Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, Delft University of Technology, ec.
Gina's view of nature is 'wild,' rooted in knowledge and the exploration of positive, diverse possibilities, always with a focus on climate adaptability.
Gina's 'nature' photography is featured in various Dutch collections, including museums and private collectors. Her publication of the book "100 Years of School Garden" Culture in the Netherlands" is considered a classic, as is her research and publication "Please Give Me A Garden," which explores 100 years of gardening along Dutch railways. Gina is also passionate about international plant hunts, !
