    For those who have a physical or mental disability, the world will soon become small. An assistance dog can then bring relief. Also for people with psychological conditions, with epilepsy or a form of autism, a dog can mean very much. Unfortunately, not everyone qualifies for a training course with a dog paid through the health insurer. For those people the Foundation Bulters + Mekke was established.
    The Foundation is an official member of ADEu (Assistance Dogs Europe).

The purpose of ADI is to improve the areas of training, placement, and utilization of assistance dogs as well as staff and volunteer education. ADI has a comprehensive accredtation system and members have to be regularly assessed to ensure they meet the high standards expected of assistance dog programs.

The purpose of ADI is to improve the areas of training, placement, and utilization of assistance dogs as well as staff and volunteer education. ADI has a comprehensive accredtation system and members have to be regularly assessed to ensure they meet the high standards expected of assistance dog programs.

    Members of ADI meet regularly to share ideas and conduct business regarding such things as educating the public about assistance dogs, advocating for the legal rights of people with disabilities partnered with assistance dogs and the setting of standards and establishing guidelines and ethics for the training of these dogs.
