As the Director of Product Strategy for Climate Solutions at Sustainalytics, I lead the product vision and strategy for the business unit that provides innovative and impactful solutions for investors and financial institutions to measure and manage climate risks and opportunities. With 14 years of experience in engineering, product development, design, and strategy, I have a unique combination of technical, analytical, and entrepreneurial skills that enable me to deliver complex and high-quality products to the market.
My specialization in climate finance stems from my academic background in renewable energy management and my previous role as a Senior Analyst and Project Manager at 2° Investing Initiative, where I co-wrote and led the design and construction of the first portfolio-level transition risk methodology and assessment report. This methodology, now widely known as the PACTA methodology, has been used by over 1500 institutions and has become a regular assessment for government and intergovernmental agencies to assess financial market stability and environmental policy. I also led the development of the first climate scenario analysis tool for banks and insurers, and trained staff at both the Bank of England and the European Occupational Insurance and Pensions Authority. At Sustainalytics, I have designed and successfully launched multiple products, led identification of acquisition and data partnerships, and built a team of four product managers with a reputation for execution and support across all cross-functional partners. I am passionate about creating solutions that enable financial actors to align their portfolios with the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals, and to contribute to the global transition to a low-carbon economy.
