Nature and aim of the position

To strengthen our HR team in the Benelux region, we are looking for an experienced and precise HR BUSINESS PARTNER for a full-time position.

HR Business Partner plays crucial role in delivering the best practice HR to all employees based in Benelux. The HRBP role is a blend of delivering operational excellence, carrying out administrative tasks and ensuring that robust audits are carried out.


Main duties and responsibilities:


HR Business Partnering


  • Works closely on a daily basis with departmental heads to understand operational issues and to anticipate and resolve any issues
  • Guides managers through the HR processes
  • Remains up to date on legal changes and embeds changes to policy and processes as cascaded from group HR
  • Ability to lead and guide on investigations, disciplinary, grievance or capability processes
  • Engages with hiring managers to ensure the role has been correctly scoped and does recruiting him/herself
  • Responsible for ensuring that the on-boarding process has been carried out effectively
  • Responsible for reviewing all relevant policies and procedures on an annual basis
  • Ensures that exits from the company are carried out in a timely and professional manner
  • Responsible for employee engagement initiatives


HR Administration and payroll


  • Coordinate payroll data in Benelux ensuring complete & timely processing in accordance with payroll schedule/deadlines
  • Update and maintain payroll related systems, such as Workday
  • Process new starters, leavers, leave of absences, long service awards, referral bonus, loans, retirement and commissions
  • Coordinate employment benefits
  • Is responsible for fully understanding SOX regulations and adhering to those rules
  • Maintain records, create and update template documents and letters and handbook with employment legislation changes


Ideally who would have:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR general tasks
  • Broad HR generalist skill set
  • Previous experience on payroll processing
  • A strong emphasis on accuracy and quality of work
  • Highly organized and pro-active approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • A willingness to learn new tasks and be flexible
  • Ability to build relationships with vendors and colleagues
  • Knowledge of Dutch employment legislation
  • Experience of working in an international environment
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
