🚘Forget everything you know about petrol stations – in 2025, the city of Amsterdam will reimagine filling stations as we know them. ⚡Introducing the ‘’mobility hub’’ – which will resemble a traditional filling station but will be exclusively for electric vehicles. It’ll offer fast chargers, electric shared vehicles, onsite catering and co-working spaces while you wait for your vehicle to charge. 🌿With Amsterdam’s plans to make the ring road emission-free by 2030 – it’s vital that Amsterdam expands the number of available charging locations allowing Amsterdam residents to have accessible charging points throughout the city and on the move. 1️⃣ The first mobility hub named E-lympic will be built early next year in Amsterdam Zuid. It will act as a beta tester for AMS Institute and the municipality, to see how beneficial mobility hubs are, as well as what effects they have on traffic and energy consumption. 👉Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/d5ur7fXc #AmsterdamMobility #FillingStationsOfTheFuture #GreenMobility #ElectricAmsterdam

🤖 Big news for the Amsterdam AI scene – Amsterdam based start up, CuspAI receive a €28 million investment to fund their GenAI-driven search engine. 🗺️ Large-scale carbon capture and storage facilities are becoming more common throughout the globe – these facilities store carbon dioxide in underground gas fields, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. 🌿 While this offers one solution for addressing climate change, interest is growing for materials that naturally absorb CO2, such as volcanic rocks, glacier ice, and cement. This is where CuspAI steps in. 🖥️ Their platform will help identify and optimise materials with CO2-binding properties – their self-described 'molecular search engine,' offers an alternative to large-scale carbon capture and storage facilities, with the added benefit that CO2 bound to solid materials is less likely to leak back into the atmosphere. 🔗 Read all about it here: https://lnkd.in/dMWdKCaY #AmsterdamAI #GreenAmsterdam #SustainableSolutions #AISolutions
