We are expanding our workshop capacity at CCB - Coast Center Base with new space in L4, and it was solemnly marked today with a cord cutting, speech, ice cream and a tour around the facility.
Newly refurbished and upgraded, this will be a nice workplace with pleasant and safe working conditions in line with good Lean methodology 😎
In L4, we are also getting closer to the subsea warehouse of our largest customer Equinor which we believe will give them increased value 👏👍
Excellent job Jan-Erik Himle and Steffen Sangolt 💪🏼

Thank you UTC - Underwater Technology Conference and GCE Ocean Technology for a great conference and networking this week in Bergen.
Elaborating on topics of Energy transition, Affordable Energy, CCS, Offshore wind, Electrification, Drones, RLWI, and much more. Many exiting challenges for the competent subsea players to follow up on!
Congratulation to Equinor and Saipem for winning the UTC Award!
After two days of meetings and presentations at our stand in Grieghallen, we wrapped up the week with a valuable Operator visit and workshop at our facilities at Ågotnes. Together with cooperation partners Proserv and Bosch Rexroth, we presented opportunities for the Operators within subsea XT refurbishment and electrification. Fruitful discussions and new insight for further development!
Love the slogan of Bosch Rexroth:
We move
You win

📣 At CCB Subsea we are always looking to strengthen our leadership skills and build an even stronger team! Recently, our fantastic management team participated in an inspiring management training together with our skilled coaches 💪✨
The day was filled with insightful exercises and valuable lessons, which help us become better managers and colleagues. After a productive day of training, we ended with a nice dinner where we could bond stronger and celebrate our progress. 🍽️
Thanks to our coaches for their guidance and support, and to the management team for their commitment and effort. We look forward to applying what we have learned in our daily operations to achieve new heights together 🚀

At CCB Subsea, we give our engineers and designers the opportunity to follow products from development to operation.
Meet our new designer, Tomas Fiskaa 😎
Tomas has an education from the Høgskulen på Vestlandet with a Bachelor's degree in General Mechanical Engineering. He started with us in March this year and has already made good progress with designing structures for subsea use.
The first product Tomas has designed is a polishing tool for the top of a subsea wellhead installed on the seabed. The tool has now been manufactured and is ready for customer use. From inquiry to ready-for-delivery product, it took only 6 weeks!! 👏
We look forward to many new products from Tomas in the future 👍
Great NPF Bergen event yesterday, where CCB Subsea AS got to discuss and share thoughts on how to attract and nurture young talent, importance of competence development and Lean execution processes, and why top managers must lead the way to create a culture for innovation and implementation of new technology.
Great networking and knowledge-sharing in the industry!
Hard facts, no bullshit💥
❓ How can our industry attract young professionals?
❓ How do we facilitate future workplaces, skills, and needs?
❓ How do we collaborate to achieve our common climate goals?
❓ What does the future energy system look like?
Those were some of the questions discussed at NPF Bergen’s seminar.
Our colleague, SVP Subsurface, Ida Ianssen Lundh talked about OKEA’s efforts to attract and nurture young talent, to build a collaborative culture and what we do to maintain an efficient and effective production.
Thanks for interesting discussions, Cecilie Sælen, Christian Haug Eide and Natalia Antonia Golis#Operationalexcellence
