📢 The EpiShuttle is now part of the RescEU's CBRN Strategic Reserve in Finland! 🇪🇺 The project is 100% EU-funded and the European Commission maintains control of operations in close cooperation with the hosting countries. The EpiShuttle has been chosen as a patient isolation transport unit for the first European Union's (EU) Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Strategic Reserve in Finland. The EpiShuttle's interoperability within the EU and certifications for land and air transport were crucial for this choice. Our distributor, Timik Group AB Group, did a great job of supporting EpiGuard throughout the entire process and will provide all necessary after-sales support in arranging supplies and planning training for healthcare professionals who will be future users of EpiShuttle. EpiGuard AS is an innovative Norwegian Medical Technology Company established in 2015 by a group of doctors at the Oslo University Hospital (OUS) together with co-founders Inven2, Eker Group AS and Hansen Protection AS. EpiGuard has evolved into a highly skilled knowledge-based company. We develop and manufacture high-end medical equipment for safe transport of contagious patients. The products are distributed globally through strategic partners. Currently, the main product is the medical isolation and transportation system, EpiShuttle. The system is developed by clinical experts at OUS, with first-hand experience in providing advanced treatment and transportation of patients with highly infectious diseases, such as Ebola. This knowledge and expertise has been transferred through to the industrial design team and together they have developed a unique product that aims to revolutionize the procedures in transport of contagious patients. The equipment is intended for use in both high-risk scenarios and in every-day practice when dealing with multi-resistant infections or other contagious diseases that require maximum protection.
