We extend warm wishes to our Taiwanese colleagues, clients, and partners as they celebrate the Mid-Autumn or Moon Festival. The Mid-Autumn Festival is a significant annual celebration in Asian society, alongside other notable events like the Chinese New Year and Dragon Boat Festival. This festival symbolizes harmony, gratitude, and togetherness, a time to enjoy mooncakes and the warm company of family and friends. From Fred. Olsen Ocean, we wish you and your loved ones a joyful and peaceful Mid-Autumn Festival! May your homes be filled with happiness, prosperity, and bright moments under the full moon.

We are proud to share a new accomplishment for Blue Tern! 🎉 In just 4 days, Blue Tern completed a full roundtrip, installing 4 WTGs, including all transits to and from port and port operations. This was done for the Baltic Eagle project, known for its challenging jacking conditions - a task not for the faint-hearted! This could be a new record in our industry, and it’s certainly something we are very proud of. A great moment for everyone involved! #renewableenergy #offshorewind #sustainability #greenenergy #bluetern

Reaching a new milestone We are proud to announce that we have successfully installed the last turbine at the Zhong Neng offshore wind farm. This marks the completion of an important chapter in Taiwan's green energy transition. With all turbines now in place, we are one step closer to realising a sustainable future powered by renewable energy. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. #renewableenergy #offshorewind #sustainability #greenenergy Zhong Neng Project

Summer interns are a valuable resource to FOWIC. Each year we welcome students who not only assist us in our work but provide us with new insights and skills that help us be better 👏 This year Nils and Alette joined the Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines and Fred. Olsen Windcarrier technical departments. They have delivered a project report that will enable us to pilot biofuel on our Cruise ship Borealis. The learnings from this project will help us find ways to sustainably fuel both our Cruise and Windcarrier vessels in the future. Mari and Susanne joined our engineering team. Their work included jacking plans for our Windcarrier vessels. They have also contributed with brilliant coding which will contribute to more efficient calculations and save work time. We are privileged to have met and worked with all four and wish them all bon voyage and best wishes in their continued studies.

Wind farm developers are becoming increasingly ambitious about the future, and we’re ready to rise to the challenge. Our vessel, Bold Tern, is equipped with a unique Huisman 1600t LEC 65500 crane. We are now ready to install foundations weighing up to 1500 tonnes and handle all known next-generation turbines. #boldtern #renewableenergy #offshorewind #globaloffshorewind #sustainability

With its 1600-tonne crane, Bold Tern demonstrates its capacity to install foundations and next-generation wind turbines with ease. In 2022, we chose to upgrade Bold Tern by installing a crane that made it possible to carry even taller and heavier offshore wind turbines. This upgrade was a huge success, paving the way for a similar upgrade on one of our other vessels, Brave Tern. Get to know Bold Tern even better: https://lnkd.in/e5b7sQ8S #boldtern #renewableenergy #offshorewind #globaloffshorewind #sustainability
