🌎 How was the climate issue brought to the international agenda in the 1980s? 🛢 What challenges lay in simultaneously being a climate policy pioneer and Prime Minister of a wealthy, oil-producing country? 🏃♂️ Are we on track to meet the climate policy goals, and what does the next 10-20 years look like? Early movers are not always appreciated, but looking back we see that the vision and legacy brought forward from politicians such as Gro Harlem Brundtland has made a difference when it comes to environmental focus and climate policies. At ONS this August, Brundtland takes us through the last 50 years, and look into the next 50 together with historian Einar Lie. The discussion will be available both at ONS in the daytime in English, and at night downtown, open and free for all. 👉 https://lnkd.in/dAZ-SHNt
