Last week, in connection with World Refugee Day, Vialto Partners hosted a webcast together with Talent Beyond Boundaries (TBB). If you have vacancies in your organization, we would urge you to consider TBB. This is an organization that connects refugees with companies in need of their skills. As a result of this, employers gain valuable talent and displaced people have a chance to rebuild their careers and lives.
Today we mark World Refugee Day. The UNHCR’s latest data tells us that by the end of 2023 117.3 million people worldwide have been forcibly displaced from their homes, as a result of persecution, conflict, violence, human rights violations or events seriously disturbing public order. We are proud of our association with Talent Beyond Boundaries (TBB). TBB is building a world where displaced people and refugees can safely migrate for work using their skills to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose. They work with governments to transform skilled migration systems, through their Talent Catalogue containing over 100,000 profiles of skilled displaced people looking for work and with employers to help to fill skills gaps and create new opportunities for displaced people. TBB is making valuable impact by connecting employers to candidates they need to fill job vacancies.
