«Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to recommend Camilla Dybendal as a professional mentor. As part of my 2021 summer internship program at Equinor, from June 21st to August the 7th, I was fortunate enough to have Camilla as my mentor for an the internal, “Radical Innovation” intern project. Camilla’s talent as a mentor is due to three main aspects: her enthusiasm, her clear teaching methods, and her great team collaboration skills. Camilla’s enthusiasm and passion for nurturing aspiring talent was apparent from the start. Camilla took to the challenge of guiding a team of interns new to the working world, who had only met each other remotely with great energy. Her passion was essential in inspiring the team to work as hard and as cohesively as we did and ultimately to the success of the project: The project culminated with a presentation of our work in a Digitalk with over 150 attendees. Camilla’s teaching methods are also excellent. Her thorough, patient explanations of the evolving structure of the global energy market gave us the strong fundamentals on which to build our own research. Camilla struck the perfect balance between hands on teaching and guidance, when required, and giving the team space to research and produce our own work when beneficial. Finally, Camilla’s experience running teams was apparent throughout the project. By showing us an efficient team collaboration structure, including daily 15 minute round-ups, setting of weekly goals and the use of project management platforms such as Trello, Camilla helped us build an environment in which to flourish.
