Solving the climate problem and taking care of our World's limited resources by keeping materials and resources in the loop for as long as possible in a circular economy, is an important task and it involve all of us. We are all part of the problem and we need to be part of the solution!

Blurb:
Many believe that driving an electric car is environmentally friendly. A "truth" has been established that electric cars are a good environmental and climate measure. Does this "truth" match reality? Each electric car creates 1,000 tons of environmentally harmful waste during production. It pollutes locally by emitting health- and environmentally harmful dust and particles.

How did electric cars end up becoming one of Norway's most important climate measures? Why did Norwegian electric car policy have such an impact that the whole world looks to our "little country"?

In the book, the authors explain how the myth of the electric car being "zero emissions" could arise. Norwegian electric car policy is not knowledge-based. It was introduced following a celebrity stunt, combined with a desire to establish a car industry in Norway. The benefits of electric cars were initially marginal, but today the subsidies amount to over 40 billion kroner a year. The book is written in collaboration between economist Jens Måge, professor Olav Torvund, and research leader Tanu Priya Uteng.

    In May 2014 Avfall Norge and Norsk Vann sent a letter to the Norwegian Environment Agency (Miljødirektoratet) together with our research networks Avfallsforsk and VAnnforsk. Autumn 2014 the Agency was given the task to prepare a report together with the initiators. June 2015 a report was sent to the Ministry of Climate and Environment recommending national targets and a governmental public report on the matter.

    Imagine ridesharing made easy - only the a few clicks on your smartphone, you may share a ride as driver or passenger.

    This project piloted ridesharing in the region of Oslo west, with 3 existing ride sharing apps.
