So many sales today — probably because Memorial Day is nearing. I scrolled through all of them to bring you the best bets, including some quite nice clothes marked way down at the Gap, a ton of beauty products at Amazon and Nordstrom, and a few picks from the first day of REI’s Anniversary Sale. The Gap has something for everyone this week. Its anticipated collab with Dôen went live last night (and has already started to sell out), and it just added tons of new styles to its sale section, with an extra 50 percent off at checkout. That means some quite nice finds are over 70 percent off, like this breezy office-appropriate button-up that’s just $17.
Sizing availability varies by color (it comes in red too), but you could wear this just-fitted-enough dress to nearly any summer event.
There are lots of beauty items on sale at Amazon for its Summer Beauty Haul, which ends Sunday. Writer Kitty Guo rounded up dozens of top picks from that sale, but I’m including a few of the best ones here, too, starting with Differin Gel, which beauty writer Tembe Denton-Hurst calls “the economical person’s answer to expensive acne treatments.” It’s many a dermatologist’s recommended over-the-counter acne treatment.
I was going to include COSRX’s popular snail-mucin essence, which was 25 percent off yesterday, but now it’s basically back to full price. So, if, like me, you missed your chance, these luxurious under-eye-brightening masks are a good backup.
Nordstrom just added a lot of new beauty products to its sale too. Perhaps the best of the bunch is this serum, which Strat readers buy in hordes and dermatologists recommend in hordes.

As we get closer to Memorial Day, more and more brands are launching their sales, including REI, whose always-anticipated Anniversary Sale just began. Hundreds of products are discounted up to 30 percent off, and a changing list of flash deals are up to 50 percent off. Today’s flash deals are mainly on REI Co-op’s line of winter coats and vests, but it’s a solid out-of-season discount if you want to prepare early for this winter. The women’s and kids’ versions are on sale as well.
