SAX CRAZED

Celebrate the legacy of legendary saxophonist Charlie Parker during the annual Charlie Parker Jazz Festival. There will be performances by jazz masters, including the Charles McPherson Quintet and Cobb’s Mob, as well as educational forums. Today 3-8 p.m., Marcus Garvey Park at 122nd Street and 5th Avenue. SHAKE THAT THING

The park is alive with the sound of dancing. Watch Changing Times Tap, The Chinese Folk Dance Company, the Battery Dance Company and Ballet Folklorico Mexicano as they perform during the Downtown Dance Festival.
