MIKE SET TO RELEASE OWN SCORE CARD

Mayor Bloomberg plans to release a progress report on where his administration stands on promises he made during his campaign for the mayoralty.

It’s not clear when he’ll present the highly unusual score card, but it will most likely be sometime after his State of the City speech, which is slated for this Thursday.

“I’ve always believed you should be accountable for what you say, and do what you promised to do,” Bloomberg said yesterday.

“We will put out the list of all of [the campaign promises] and say whether or not, in retrospect, they weren’t the best ideas,” he said.

“Or [that] this one we did, or this one’s completed, or this we’re still working on,” Bloomberg added.

Since his charter-revision commission completed its mission last fall, its co-executive director, Bradley Tusk, a longtime aide of Sen. Charles Schumer, has been working on making sure the campaign promises do not fall through the cracks.
