* A 25-year-old man suspected of killing his roommate last week during a $20 rent dispute in their Kensington apartment was arrested in Miami yesterday, police said.

Mickey Cass (above), 25, was charged with the Sept. 25 strangulation murder of Victor Dombrova, 27, inside an apartment at 765 Coney Island Ave., said Inspector Raymond Ferrari, head of Brooklyn detectives.

Cass, a drifter who has lived in Woodstock, Kingston and Buffalo, N.Y.; Hollywood, Calif., and Cranston, R.I., fled to Miami soon after the slaying, Ferrari said.

Brooklyn detectives working with Florida cops tracked Cass to a Miami homeless shelter yesterday morning where he was arrested without incident.

Ferrari said Cass met Dombrova about two weeks earlier in the Gemini Lounge, a Manhattan nightspot where the victim had worked as a bartender, before moving in with him.

Some two hours before the slaying, cops were summoned to the apartment where both men were living when the victim made a 911 call.

Cops found that Dombrova had suffered no injuries and left after taking a harassment complaint.

Cass is a suspect in a similar slaying of a roommate in Buffalo. Details on that case were not immediately available.
