GIRL GANG TURNS ON BRONX GOOD SAMARITAN

A Bronx good Samaritan counted himself lucky to have survived yesterday after he was stabbed, pistol-whipped and shot in revenge for stopping a gang of girls from beating up another female.

Two suspects were arrested in Thursday’s attack on Kervin Rodriguez, 21, a grocery clerk from the Bedford Park section, cops said.

“I feel lucky to be alive,” Rodriguez said as he recuperated at home after spending a night in the hospital.

When Rodriguez tried to help the unidentified girl, one of the gang members sprayed him with Mace and ran away.

He stumbled into the hallway of 15 E. 199th St. to take shelter when one of the women with whom he had argued with earlier entered with several men.

The female suspect, Bertha Aracil, 21, pulled an ice pick from her coat and handed it to a second suspect, Miguel Marquez, who gored Rodriguez twice in the chest and back as Aracil pummeled him with her fists, cops said.

Marquez then allegedly pistol-whipped Rodriguez, who grabbed Aracil to use as a shield.

Marquez fired four shots at Rodriguez as he fled, hitting him in the foot and shoulder, police said.

Aracil and Marquez were picked up and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
