Linda Lavin will guest-star on next week’s episode of the hot prime-time soap as Sophie Cohen, mother of Sandy Cohen (Peter Gallagher) and grandmom (or “Nana,” as she’s called on the show) of Sandy’s son, Seth (Adam Brady).

The Jewish holiday-themed episode airs Wednesday, March 31, at 9 p.m. on Fox/Ch. 5. (The eight-day celebration of Passover starts the following Monday evening, April 5).

According to Fox, sultry Summer (Rachel Bilson) – Seth’s girlfriend – tries to get on Nana’s good side by pitching in to help prepare the Passover meal.

But Nana delivers a piece of news that rocks the holiday celebration.
