N.J. TRIO IN DRUG-PLOT BUST

Three mid-level drug dealers were arrested by Bergen County, N.J., police as they were about to rob an undercover cop, bind him with duct tape, and murder him if he made any trouble, authorities said yesterday.

The arrests of the trio came Tuesday, one day after ringleader Adam Mayo, 40, of West Orange, N.J., had made final arrangements to buy 30 pounds of marijuana from the cop, police said.

The next day, when the agent showed up in Fort Lee to sell the drugs to Mayo, Anthony Calella, 29, of Elizabeth and John DeAngelo, 31, of Milltown, cops moved in.
