GAL’S ORDEAL: FINDING HER SISTER’S BODY PARTS

A sister of a Bronx woman whose body was discovered chopped to pieces Wednesday described the horror of finding the body parts scattered near a secluded pond.

Angie Parasran, 40, told The Post that her sister Rawayti Haimrha, 35, of Story Avenue, was having a rocky marriage before she disappeared Wednesday – and was found hacked to pieces in Castle Hill Park.

“I was walking, looking for clothing or a pocketbook when I came across two hands,” said Parasran.

“Then I saw the feet to the side. Then I saw the thighs and then the head.”

Police said they were holding Haimhra’s common law-husband, Joshua Nowrang, a house painter, for questioning.

A fisherman discovered the body at around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, and Parasran, who was nearby, identified the body.

Police sources said there was one recorded domestic incident involving the couple, but the case had been closed.

The couple has two children, a 16-year-old son who is in Guyana, and a 7-year-old daughter, who is with Nowrang’s relatives.

The Medical Examiner’s Office said that the results of an autopsy were pending.
