Even if you don’t have the NFL Network, you will be able to watch the Giants’ season finale against the Redskins.
The game will be simulcast on Ch. 4 because the NFL makes all of its cable telecasts available on local over-the-air stations. For example, on Monday the Jets’ win over the Dolphins on ESPN also was shown on Ch. 9.
Cablevision and Time Warner subscribers don’t have the NFL Network available to them, because the two cable giants and the NFL cannot agree on how much the network should cost and what level tier it should be on.
The sides did agree to put the NFL Network on for a limited time basis this week so Rutgers fans will be able to see the Scarlet Knights in tomorrow’s Texas Bowl.
