EX-COP LIVID OVER POLICE STUN-GUNNING OF SON

An ex-NYPD lieutenant charges that his former colleagues brutalized his teenage son, placing the boy in an illegal chokehold, stun-gunning him several times and leaving him burned and traumatized.

Alexander Lombard, an attorney who retired from the force in 2000, said his son, Alexander, 17, was attending an alcohol-free bash on Aug. 19 in Harlem when cops swooped in.

The younger Lombard was allegedly beaten with a nightstick, burned with the stun gun and handcuffed to a chair for hours before he was released.

“I’m hurt and outraged,” Lombard said as his son displayed his bruises in front of police headquarters.

“He’s been traumatized. My son loves cops and grew up in a police family.”

Lombard is calling for Police Commissioner Ray Kelly and the Internal Affairs Bureau to investigate.

The cops said they were simply responding to a large disturbance and arrested Lombard for disorderly conduct.

“In the course of subduing the suspect, a police sergeant employed a Taser against the suspect’s ankle. The sergeant documented the use of the Taser, as required,” said department spokesman Paul Browne.
