SWELL-EVISION

WITH plenty of tube stars strutting style on the screen, we honor small-screen stars with the awards they didn’t hand out at last night’s 59th annual Emmy Awards.

Best model mommy – Heidi Klum

As a judge on Bravo’s reality series “Project Runway,” Heidi Klum proves that she’s a successful designer, model and mother. The German mama of two looks like she’s never had children. Know what we’re talking about, Britney?

Most supreme in suits – Jeremy Piven

Jeremy Piven plays the abrasive agent Ari Gold on HBO’s “Entourage,” but he’s one charming chap in his dark-colored, tailored Prada-esque suits, shiny shoes and winning smirk that goes with everything.

Best tomboy chic – Evangeline Lilly

Evangeline Lilly, who plays Kate Austen on “Lost,” makes trying to stay alive fashionable. The bodacious brunette more than survives in tight tanks, camouflage trousers and a will to live that shows every single curve.

Sexiest dude in scrubs – Patrick Dempsey

Patrick Dempsey of “Grey’s Anatomy” is the medicine man with all the right moves. His beautiful blues and fine physique make the otherwise boring white coat and stodgy scrubs sexy enough to make any bad, bad nurse want to play a little doctor.

Best prayer chic – Chloe Sevigny

Chloe Sevigny looks church-ready as Nicki Grant on HBO’s show about Mormonism, “Big Love.” In her high-wasted skirts, button-down shirts and famously braided locks, she shows the world that hard-core zealotry truly is the new black.

Best mob wife mode – Edie Falco

She is every mobster’s dream wife. Edie Falco, who plays the playful fashionista on HBO’s “The Sopranos,” struts her Italian stuff in flashy low-cut leopard-print dresses. Her style’s so satisfying, you almost forget how much the last show really bit.

Best tressed – Eva Longoria

Eva Longoria may play the spoiled Gabrielle Solis on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives,” but her magnificent mane makes her less menacing. From her casual coiffure to her more lavish locks, you almost forgive her stunning lack of personality.

Best laid-back L.A. look – Mary-Louise Parker

Mary-Louise Parker is Nancy Botwin on Showtime’s dark comedy “Weeds.” She’s as casual cool about growing green as she is about clothing. Mostly in modest garments, like dresses and jeans, you’d have to be high not to want to Bogart that look.

Most fashionable frames – Tina Fey

Tina Fey makes four eyes fashionable. Both on the screen as head writer Liz Lemon on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live”-esque “30 Rock” and off, she’s like a naughty librarian with none of the pesky naughty librarian hang-ups.

Cutest kitchen customs – Rachael Ray

Rachael Ray bites into the fashion world while cooking up a storm. On her daytime talk show, ABC’s “The Rachael Ray Show,” she wears tunic tops and costume jewelry that dazzle – all while having multiple eat-gasms to viewers’ delight.

Sharpest bite – Anthony Bourdain

Anthony Bourdain has “No Reservations” about going global and eating local. No matter what’s on his plate, he always brings his N.Y.C. attitude – and punk-rock style. Think Ramones with a dash of salt.

Best superhero style – Hayden Panettiere

Hayden Panettiere of “Heroes” is the sassiest cheerleader in school. The bold blonde wears stylish schoolgirl chic ensembles like zip-ups, denim jeans and that very sexy red miniskirt while saving lives. And, hooray, she’s finally legal.
