STARR REPORT

Different specsLive with Regis & Kel ly’s” annual Halloween show, always a talker – who can forget Michael Gelman as Britney Spears, or Regis Philbin as chrome- domed Howie Mandel? – is going 3D this year, with 3D glasses available via Wal greens. And thanks to the show for not using the word “spooktacular” in its release (always the easy way out).

This will, by the way, be the first 3D daytime telecast ever. In prime time, though, Car toon Network will offer viewers a 3D sneak peek at the LucasArts video game, “Thrillville: Off the Rails,” tomorrow (starting 7 p.m.).
