‘REAL WORLD’ HOOK’D

THE new version of MTV’s “Real World Brooklyn” is back on the streets looking for a home.

The show is reportedly now close to a deal to take over a loft space in rusty Red Hook, not far from the new Ikea store.

The space MTV originally wanted – the old Bell Telephone building in downtown Brooklyn – fell through because of zoning hassles.

A loft building in Carroll Gardens, the back-up, was also scotched last week for similar reasons.

But over the weekend, reports leaked out that the reality series – which puts seven kids together in a living space and lets the cameras record what happens – had narrowed the search down to a commercial loft space on Pier 41 at the end of Van Dyke Street, in Red Hook.
