OBAMA 2012

I enjoyed reading your future Post headlines after four years of an Obama presidency; it made my future bleeding ulcer that much bigger (“Four Years Later,” PostScript, Nov. 2).

The articles, especially Ralph Peters’ “Obama’s Triumphs Abroad,” will become a sad reality.

“Obama 2012” is the lowest garbage I’ve ever seen in your newspaper. What are your motives?

Who do you think will be swayed by this nonsense? Have you no shame?

I read your paper for the sports pages, but I must bid your paper adieu.

Alexander Hamilton stopped turning over in his grave long ago, so don’t worry about your place in history.

Freedom of speech is gone in this country forever. Every channel, radio station and media outlet (except one) has been bought by the far left.

This has been the most corrupt election to date.

Did John McCain really want to win this election? Why did he let Sarah Palin be the fall guy for his lousy campaign strategists? Did he ever have a chance to begin with?

It has never been a question of race. The question is: Do we trust Obama?

I trust Ronald McDonald more than I do Obama – he has more experience, character and integrity.

Your “2012” satire of the failure of the Obama presidency was nothing more than an eleventh-hour attempt to scare undecided voters.

The Post makes The Wall Street Journal look liberal. The Post is a respected news organization, yet this is what you waste people’s time on?

Granted, it’s slightly funny, but, more so, pretty revealing.

The fantasy in Sunday’s paper, authored by your triumvirate of writers, is pathetic, but it is fiction.

We know for a fact that the presidency of George W. Bush was a disaster for our country and the world. Yet I suppose upon his leaving office, we can expect pieces from The Post expounding on the great success of his presidency.

Why don’t you try to convince us the sky is green while you’re at it?

Fortunately, this nation does not fear the future and never fails to keep its rendezvous with destiny.

Let the fearmongers fret. Obama’s bold optimism embraces the promise of the “city upon a hill,” and reaffirms President Lincoln’s vision of “hope to the world, future for all time.”

Jared Reinmuth, Manhattan

God bless you all for seeking to counter this terrifying mass hypnosis that has saturated our nation like some alien aphrodisiac.

Sadly, this is what passes for objective analysis and critical thinking on the part of all too many voters.

I say with profound love, “God Bless America,” but now I’ve added “God Help America” to my prayer.

I am stockpiling my courage and faith. Whatever happens, just spare us the report that Obama is in Iran, singing folk songs with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
