NEW YORK — A poll says New Yorkers are going about life as usual despite the failed car bomb in Times Square. While they’re worried about terrorism, they think the NYPD is doing a good job handling security.
The Quinnipiac University poll showed 86 percent of New Yorkers surveyed have not made any changes to their daily routines after the May 1 incident in Times Square.
But nearly 70 percent are worried about another terrorist attack.
Seventy percent of the people surveyed approve of the job Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly is doing.
Kelly said Tuesday the poll shows residents are resilient.
The poll surveyed 797 registered voters. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
