Bond rebound

Corporate bond sales are back to levels not seen since April as inter est-rate swap spreads show investors are gain ing confidence that Eu rope’s debt crisis is con tained. Total SA, Europe’s third-largest oil producer, and Israel-based Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. led $36.1 billion of global sales last week, the most since the period ended April 23.

CBS Mumbai

Mumbai-based Reliance Broadcast Network signed an initial agree ment for an equal joint venture with CBS to launch television chan nels in India. The joint venture will operate Eng lish language channels and will later explore launching regional-lan guage general entertain ment channels. The par ties plan to complete the deal in a month. Terms weren’t announced.

Euro Jeep

Chrysler’s Jeep brand will become the subsid iary’s primary global make in the first half of next year as owner Fiat emphasizes the Lancia nameplate in Europe. Chrysler’s minivan, Se bring and 300 models will be rebadged as Lan cias across most of Eu rope at the end of the first quarter or early in the second. Chrysler aims for Jeep to account for half of its global sales.
