Rivers propels Duke into Maui final

Austin Rivers had 20 points, Seth Curry and Ryan Kelly had 17 each, and No. 6 Duke shot its way into another Maui Invitational championship game with an 82-75 win over No. 15 Michigan yesterday in Hawaii.

Andre Dawkins added 14 points and the Blue Devils (6-0) hit 11 of 21 3-pointers to earn a spot in tonight’s title game against No. 14 Kansas, a 72-56 winner last night over UCLA. Tim Hardaway Jr. led Michigan (4-1) with 19 points.

N. Carolina 102, Tenn. State 69

In Chapel Hill, Reggie Bullock scored a career-high 23 points for the top-ranked Tar Heels (4-0).

Colo. State 91, Manhattan 86 (OT)

Wes Eikmeier scored 23 points in overtime as Colorado State (4-2) defeated Manhattan 91-86 in a consolation game of the NIT Season Tip-Off in Fort Collins, Colo. Michael Alvarado led the Jaspers (3-2) with 22 points, including a buzzer-beating 3-pointer that forced overtime.

Antonio Barton hit a big jumper in the second overtime as No. 8 Memphis (2-1) held off Tennessee (2-2) in the Maui Invitational.

In Pittsburgh, Nasir Robinson scored 17 points as the 17th-ranked Panthers (3-1) held off the Explorers (2-2).

Dave Coley scored 12 points as Stony Brook (2-2) held off visiting Columbia (0-4).

In Philadelphia, Latif Rivers scored 18 points, and Wagner (4-1) made its final 10 free throws.
