IN THE BAG: Perennial favorites in the NYC kids’ theater world, the Paper Bag Players are back with a brand-new show: “Laugh! Laugh! Laugh!” Colorfully comedic, with music little ones will hum for days, this one’s a no-brainer. Today, 11 a.m., tomorrow, 3 p.m.; $15, $25 and $30. Symphony Space, 95th Street and Broadway; 212-864-5400, symphonyspace.org

LIONS, TIGERS & DRAGONS: Just because it’s the Year of the Dragon doesn’t mean you have to forget about all the other ferocious creatures out there. “Lunar New Year” at Children’s Museum of the Arts will include the shadow-puppet show “Tiger Tales,” and a performance by the Chinese Lion Dancers of PS 124. Learn about traditional crafts such as calligraphy, paper cutting and grass animal-making, too. 1 to 5 p.m.; $10 per person. 103 Charlton St., between Hudson and Greenwich streets; 212-274-0986; cmany.org
