It’s nice luggage, but he won’t need it for his trip to the Big House.

A thief in Tremont broke into a high-end sports car and attempted to make off with the expensive luggage inside, cops said.

Cops reportedly observed Eliud Melendez, 25, reaching into the smashed rear driver-side window of a black 2006 Porsche Cayenne parked at Lafontaine Avenue and East 180th Street at about 1:30 a.m. last Saturday.

Melendez reached inside and took a brown and tan Louis Vuitton suitcase, a green and white Lacoste duffel bag and a gold Coach bag, cops said.

But in seconds, he spotted the officers, dropped the bags and tried to flee, but was quickly apprehended, according to court papers.

Melendez, who was busted last September for using an illegal vehicle identification number, now faces charges of grand larceny, criminal mischief, possession of burglary tools and possession of stolen property, court records state.

A cashier at the South Bronx Target store created her own personal gift registry by allowing her baby daddy make off with unpaid-for merchandise, authorities said.

Crystal Scott, 27, was busted Monday for allegedly allowing the man to walk out with Pampers, bathing suits, blow dryers and tissues, along with handfuls of cash from the register, according to court documents.

Noticing that Scott’s register money count was repeatedly coming up short, a store manager checked surveillance video, court records state.

He confirmed the theft, and Scott confessed to pocketing $20 to $40 from the baby daddy before handing him more than $3,000 from the register, the records indicate.

In addition to the cash, Scott and her partner took more than $200 worth of goods, police said.

She was charged with two counts of grand larceny and one count of petit larceny. It was not immediately known if her accomplice was in custody.

Cops are looking for a smartly dressed suspect who knocked over a bank in Flatbush, authorities said.

The thief entered the Chase branch at Flatbush Avenue and Avenue H just before 11 a.m. Monday, passed a demand note to a teller and fled with an undisclosed sum of cash, cops said.

When last seen he was wearing round-rimmed glasses and garbed mostly in black, from his fedora to his gloves and shoes.

He stands about 5-foot-7 and weighs about 150 pounds, cops said.

Kiss off, girl!

A knife-wielding Bushwick woman who was making out with a man on a subway train was busted yesterday after she attacked a woman who didn’t appreciate the randy rider repeatedly bumping into her.

Jessica Otero, 30, was going at it hot and heavy with a guy on a southbound A train and bumped into a 55-year-old woman sitting beside her at around 1 a.m. yesterday, cops and witnesses said.

The older woman, who walks with a cane, asked Otero to move, cops said.

But Otero went from lover to fighter in an instant and punched the woman in the head, according to police.

When the victim reported the assault to the subway conductor, Otero exploded, pulled a knife and shouted, “I’m going to drag you off the train and nobody’s going to be able to help you,” according to court records.

A police officer was busted for beating her 8-year-old son with a belt, police said.

Allison Timothy, 31, was arrested Wednesday after teachers at her son’s Flatbush school noticed a mark on the boy, cops said.

He told them his mom had hit him, police said.

A thief was caught on camera swiping wine from a SoHo bar, authorities said.

On three occasions between Feb. 6 and last Friday, Pedro Aguilar, 73, slipped into One Mile House on Delancey Street between 8 and 9:45 a.m., court papers state.

Police caught up with Aguilar Monday, authorities said.

A dishonest NYPD cop was arrested yesterday after he issued a bogus summons to an undercover detective for allegedly drinking on an East Harlem street, authorities said.

Officer Daniel King, 48, confronted the detective at East 108th Street and Madison Avenue at about 11 p.m. last Aug. 6, court records state.

King wrote out a summons to the undercover even though the detective was not drinking, the documents show.

Police are searching for two burglars who used a cobblestone to smash their way into three businesses and help themselves to merchandise, cops said.

The break-ins took place at SoHo and Midtown clothing stores and an Upper West Side AT&T wireless store.

They also tried to break into another Midtown clothing store, but fled when the alarm went off.
