WASHINGTON — Rick Santorum yesterday took target practice with a .45-caliber handgun while campaigning in Louisiana ahead of today’s primary — and later swore he didn’t hear a supporter who yelled “pretend it’s Obama” when he was shooting at a target.
“It’s absurd,” said the GOP presidential wannabe, who wore protective earmuffs at the shooting range in Monroe. “No, we’re not pretending it’s anybody . . . It’s a very terrible and horrible remark, and I’m glad I didn’t hear it.”
