Good Samaritans nabbed a thief who tried to steal from a fellow rider on a bus in Carroll Gardens, authorities said.

A 23-year-old woman boarded the B57 with shopping bags and a 2-year-old in tow at the corner of Smith and Ninth streets at about 11:30 a.m. on April 13.

Bryan Medina, 30, offered to help, but the woman brushed him off, law-enforcement sources said.

He then sat behind the woman and allegedly snatched her phone and wallet.

Medina denied he had the phone — until another passenger dialed the number and it rang in his pocket, the sources said.

The suspect ran out through an emergency exit, but several witnesses tackled him to the pavement and held him down until police arrived, the sources said.

Cops charged Medina with grand larceny, resisting arrest, criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny.
