Bio-Bolstering Obama

The Issue: Revisions made to the White House Web site highlighting President Obama’s accomplishments.

The only things bigger than President Obama injecting himself into previous White House presidential biographies are his ego and his deficits (“Bam-Boozled Bios of Past Presidents,” PostOpinion, Seth Mandel, May 16).

In rewriting history, the White House Web site compares Obama to President Harry Truman.

How dare they?

Truman had the guts to act on his beliefs. He did not have to “evolve” his thinking.

Truman decided, acted and said, “The buck stops here.” He never said, “It’s all someone else’s fault.”

I count the days until November. Obama’s exit can’t come soon enough.

What a disgrace to go into the biographies of past presidents and add bullet points to make yourself look good.

Obama will do anything to redirect the public’s attention from the abysmal economy, the home foreclosures, the national debt, the billions of dollars wasted on bankrupt “green” companies, the corrupt Justice Department, the health-care disaster and his perverted idea of marriage.

The only past president I would compare Obama to is Jimmy Carter — and look at the mess he made.
