Thug arrested after stabbing death of ex-girlfriend

A career criminal was taken into police custody after he stabbed his ex-girlfriend to death at her Woodside home and attacked her roommate, police sources said.

The suspect, 38, got into an explosive argument with the victim, 31, at around 5:35 p.m. yesterday at the 55th Street residence near Northern Boulevard—and struck her repeatedly in the face and torso with a blade, cops said.

After killing her, law-enforcement sources said he began cleaning the apartment with rags, and moving items into an SUV outside.

He bumped into her roommate, who began to call the police—and he punched her, then ran off with her cell phone, sources said.

She began chasing after him, as did other people in the building.

The suspect’s brother also called the police after the fight, and said that he had assaulted someone, sources added.

Cops rushed to the scene in a patrol car, and cuffed him nearby.

EMS pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The suspect is no stranger to the NYPD with a rap sheet of more than 25 busts, including attempted murder, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon, sources said.

He also has a domestic violence history with another woman, sources added.

He has not been charged yet, and is being treated at Elmhurst Hospital for chest pain, as well as a cut to his hand.
