A Queens public-school teacher used a fourth-grade girl as a “personal sex toy,” prosecutors charged yesterday before the girl bravely took the stand to face down the educator.
“He grabbed my right hand and placed it between his legs and said to ‘hold it tight’ and rubbed it over his clothes,” said the girl, now 13, weeping in state Supreme Court.
Simon Watts, 42, a teacher at PS 15 in Springfield Gardens until 2007, is accused of molesting that girl, two other girls and a boy, all ages 8 and 9.
In opening statements, Watts’ attorney, Amy Marion, called the case a “horrible, horrible, horrible case of a man being wrongfully accused.”
